to try to cook Banana pinchers (Pisang
Gapit), one of my favorite dessert and this style just one
of Balikpapan, East Borneo dessert. You don’t need to go to Balikpapan
to
enjoy this menu. Because you can make it by yourself. But this is secret
recipe I shared to you who can get this treasure o.k lol. I am kidding.
Pisang
Gapit is dessert I guess. It is not difficult to make and simple material
indeed to make a delicious pisang gapit because as the name pisang (banana) so
the important material is BANANA. Obviously
bananas as the main ingredients and sauces as well as excellence in the presentation
of this pincher bananas.
Let's
making banana clamp (Pisang Gapit) is simple and easy .
The
materials needed for the Banana Gapit :
Bananas 8 pieces
Spreadable margarine
Material of
Sauce:
500 ml coconut milk
± 50 g brown sugar ( or about 3-4 tablespoons
brown sugar combed) because I am Indonesian, I choose palm sugar as from Java.
(next time I will explain about this sugar)
Cornstarch flour for thickening taste
Pandan leaves to taste
Jackfruit as
a complementary fruit and banana flavoring pinchers.
How to Make Pisang Gapit:
Grilled
bananas a minute, then flip. Grease a banana with margarine. Then baked again
until slightly charred. If there is no grill, you can use a pan.
How to make
a banana sauce pinchers by boiling sugar with water, then strain. Boil water
coconut milk and brown sugar over medium heat. Then, enter the pandan leaves.
Then Dissolve a spoonful of flour or cornstarch with a little water. Then enter
into the boiling milk. Stir until sauce thickens. Taste, when the sweetness is
less, add a little brown sugar.
Well , the sauce
is ready. Cut the bananas had been burned, and then pour the sauce is sweet
