every body love it in the world. Who can reject to holiday? Am I? No way. I can’t
reject to get an adventure during my holiday, because holiday is fantastic to
do to keep alive in busy days. Do you know Bintan island, especially
Tanjungpinang city? If you never hear about this city, so you are the right one
to read all about this story I want to tell you right now.

Citra wants to tell you about find Gods and Dragon in Tanjungpinang. Tanjungpinang
has many gods and dragons you can find it. Can you imagine your dragon “hunts”
will take you to the hiterland of this tropical island. In Tanjungpinang,
Bintan Island, Riau Islands Province in Indonesia has many spots you can find
out. I will tell you so far 4 spots only, because still has many temples of
chinese you can visit it and all worth it to visit. But this time, I just wanna
give you 4 spots you will love it to put on your list during holiday in
Indonesia and come on! Visit Bintan Island either in your list adventure,
alright!
1. Vihara Dhrama Sasana Temple
The big Buddha statue in this temple of Senggarang
This temple
dominated in the red color. This temple is a favorite Singaporeans and
Malaysians to pray, especially when during big event such as Chinese New Year celebration. When you come to
this place, the big red gate will take your attention. Because the combination big
pillars (4 pillars) and up the roof has two dragons. Of course this gate so
fantastic to see. This gate more perfect during sunny day.

In other
side, right your hand side, you can see the temple and some statues such as
Dewi Khuan In around the fish pool. This monastery is quite magnificent with a
variety of ornaments Dewi Kwan In, actually. This is so nice place because a
lot of trees around this place. Even sunny day, you still can enjoy it. Like I
do. I really love to see the fishes are swimming in the pool and hearing the
sound of waves. The soft wind make me feel so nice.
Get to
inside the temple, the local people in Tanjungpinang said this place is Kelenteng. Located in Senggarang which
this place such as “Chinese town” of Tanjungpinang, Indonesia. You will find
some temples to pray. Get little up, you will see the big statue and its so
fantastic right to visit it.

Another
side in this temple, the left said you can see the ocean and from this pier you
can see another island. Its call Penyengat island. I will tell you this later. Let’s check this
pictures I taken for you to enjoy it and perhaps you wanna get lost either in
this place, like I do. For more info for you guys this place (pagoda) was built
in the 18th century.
2 Tien Shang Miao Temple
This temple
little different then Vihara Dharma Sasana because this just one temple and the
ages already long time ago. You can smell of stinging incense comes from an old
Temple. This temple located in the middle of a market. The temple name is Tien
Shang Miao Temple.
A little
history about this temple, a hundreds years
ago, this temple was the home of a well known Chinese captain. The location of
his house is exactly across the river that empties into the dock. After no
longer used, the house was then used as a place of worship by local residents.
Even like
that, this temp'e so special because this temple is covered by banyan tree (pohon beringin) roots. According to locals, initially the house building has two floors. But
Banyan tree's roots continued to pierce into the cavity of the building's walls,
some of which were not used anymore. As the reason because the whole room
upstairs had been filled with tree trunks. Even like that this temple still use
to pray. That is why you still can smell incense. This place is worth it to
keep in your list during your holiday to visit Tanjungpinang, Bintan island
because this is unusually place to get an adventure to see the local people and
the different object. Its fantastic right.
